I love old pictures of people on the farm, it reminds me of my family's photos! I recently came across a few pictures of ladies working, which is considerably more rare. Women often tended to the children and house while their husbands, sons and other male relatives worked the fields. It wasn't until WWI that women started to get their hands dirty, and didn't become common place until WWII. All these photos were taken in Oregon, most are from the late war era, around 1944. Enjoy!
